Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Spotted Unmasked Ahead Of Launch

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 seen, the largest capacity Pulsar yet

Bajaj Auto is preparing for the introduction of the much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar NS400, which was recently spotted. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has slated the debut for May 3rd, 2024.

The spy images of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 provide a clear view of its appearance and attributes. The NS400 has a remarkable similarity to its predecessor, the NS200, and includes recognizable features like as a split-seat arrangement, tail section, and split grab rail design. However, modest changes to the tank's design and additions add to its distinct personality.

The NS400 is expected to be powered by a 373.3cc single-cylinder engine sourced from the Bajaj Dominar 400. This engine is recognized for its powerful performance and is likely to provide a thrilling ride. However, Bajaj Auto may alter the gearing to improve acceleration.

In terms of suspension, the NS400 has a gold-finished inverted fork and a gas-charged monoshock setup. Additionally, ABS modes and traction control are expected to improve safety and handling.

The radiator shrouds have a carbon fiber texture, the brake and clutch levers are adjustable, and the front fender has red highlights. The NS400 is also expected to feature an LCD screen with smartphone connectivity and navigation.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is intended to compete against popular models such as the KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. It is likely to cost roughly Rs 2 lakhs.

Apple has resumed talks with Open AI to bring generative AI features to the upcoming iOS 18.

Apple has also continued conversations with Google about licensing its Gemini AI chatbot.

Apple and Google are exploring adding AI elements to the next iOS18 operating system. The Tim Cook-led corporation has reportedly'renewed' talks with OpenAI to deliver much-anticipated generative artificial intelligence features to iPhones. According to Bloomberg, Apple and OpenAI began discussions regarding a transaction earlier this year; however, the talks may not have moved much since then. If the conversations continue, we might see a chatbot-like feature in iOS 18.

In addition, Apple has been in talks with Google about licensing their Gemini AI chatbot. According to the article, Apple might sign an agreement with both OpenAI and Google or stay with one for its chatbot.

According to other reports, Apple is also in talks with Baidu about bringing next-generation AI capabilities to customers in China, where Google does not have a presence.

Apple is pushing iOS 18 as one of its most significant software improvements to date. Following its yearly tradition, Apple is anticipated to unveil iOS 18 at its Worldwide Developers Conference, with the new upgrade perhaps landing on the next iPhone 16 series later this year.

Apple's AI Model May Be 'On Device'

Bloomberg also recently revealed that Apple is creating a large language model (LLM) that will run solely on the smartphone. Simply put, it will be powered by a processor inside the phone rather than via the cloud. It also means that the AI chatbot will be less strong and smart than the majority of commercial chatbots on the market today, such as ChatGPT or Gemini.

The on-device strategy will also help to reduce reaction time and enable access to services that are not available via the internet or in places with limited connectivity. It will also help Apple retain privacy.

Tata is building high-tech equipment to make iPhone casings?

Apple is attempting to diversify its manufacturing base in order to lessen its reliance on China, according to previous reports.

Tata Electronics has partnered with two Indian manufacturers in Pune and Bengaluru to build capabilities for developing very sophisticated and intricate high-precision equipment required to make iPhone casings, according to the Economic Times.

The equipment can be found on the production lines of independent contractors who work with big firms such as Apple. The step is expected to significantly increase the government's aim of $300 billion in electronics exports by 2025.

Given the geopolitical situation, this comes at a time when Apple is attempting to diversify its manufacturing base in order to lessen its reliance on China.

According to the article, the Tata Group is testing these devices in stages at their Hosur site. Part of the goal is to expand its local expertise, as the company wants to create the country's ecosystem rather than just build enclosures. These machines are just one of the many inputs that go into creating a component or enclosure, and the company is looking at reducing its reliance on certain parts.

                                Ajay Chowdhary,Hcl Founder & Chairman.

Ajai Chowdhry, co-founder of HCL, told the Economic Times, "Everyone needs casings; if Tata Group can undertake import substitution and manufacture these machines in India, it will generate an industry since so many people want casings. Anyone who wants to produce a phone or tablet in India will need casings, and if they can meet Apple's strict criteria, the gadget will be of great quality."

The program not only increases domestic output but also builds the framework for future exports. Furthermore, it can help India meet its ambitious goal of exporting $300 billion in electronics by 2025.
